Know the value of your vote!

Well this time I want to share with you this information whose author is @jocra.

Good morning to all my readers

Today a HardFork (HF) was made to the blockchain of Steem (in simple words, it was made an update with some changes) and with that it has brought of immediate way some changes that can notice, immediately, in The value of their publications.

Among the most important changes that have been added to the network are the following:

1. The winning rewards curve has returned to a linear trend.

Before, as more people voted for a post, it increased exponentially (n2), now it will be linearly proportional to the votes that this post gets.

2. The value of each vote has been increased 4 times.

That is, if you voted before and a publication you generated $ 0.01, now at least generate more than $ 0.04, if you vote at 100%.

With this, also comes the fact that before there was a standard that ideally was to vote 40 times a day to 100% and with that it was not reducing your "voting power", this was reduced in voting 10 times a day to 100% without If you reduce your voting power.

This means, if you make more than 10 votes a day, what you will leave in each publication will be less and less value.

Something that I want to highlight ALL new users, their voting power has been greatly increased.

This means that they now have a lot more influence on Steemit, since you still can not graduate that much "voting power" you want to use in a vote (when they go from about 500 SP they appear the bar to graduate the vote).

IN CONCLUSION

With this new update it is time to value more each vote that is granted to a publication and more even by the new users who can not graduate it as they are a large part of the "minnows" (this is called the users of not possessing both SteemPower )

My great recommendation is to make use of your votes, do not give it to any publication.
