How to Maximize Curation Rewards on Steemit💰

As you know there are 2 kinds of rewards, but for those who don't I will explain:

  • The first one is "Author Reward" - which means upvotes on posts you are gonna upload to your blogs or comments you will get upvotes for.
  • The second one is "Curation Reward" - your reward for upvoting someone's post (including yours) which gives you a share of the reward pool of this post.

Now, the best way to maximize your "Author Reward" is pretty simple. All you have to do is to upload posts with quality content and also comment as much as you can, but let the comments be long and related to the subject. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT type replies like "good post", it can make people downvote you.

As for the "Curation Rewards" it's a bit more complicated. Usually, the best way to earn from it is to upvote posts 30 minutes after they were published, which gives you a bigger share of the specific post's reward pool. On the other hand, on posts that are gonna become viral, the best way to maximize you curation rewards is to upvote right away when the post is up. You can't really know which post is going to become viral, so you have to rely on your own guts.

** It is important to say that you won't see much profits from "Curation Rewards" unless you have at least 1000 Steem Power.

** Another important thing to specify about the second method is that probably soon enough in order to maximize your "Curation Rewards", it would be the best to upvote a post 15 minutes from the moment it was published instead of 30 minutes like now, as it says here on the @steemitblog.
