My two cents. #4!

Steemit, and stinc, would benefit from making peace with it's content creators, imo.

The price is stagnating because the word is getting out that if you don't brown nose the haves, you will forever be a have not.

There is no point in joining unless you are already popular.

Now, there aren't many people in the world, especially in the developing world, that want to join in for more of the same crap they get handed in real life.

If I got to kiss butt on an old white dude to get a job, well, why would I invest into Steemit for more of the same?

Even if those white dudes ain't so old.

What happens, too often, if you ask me, is that folks come from nothing with fire in their bellies.

Even those that come from limited privilege often take off like they have something to prove, but just as quick as they get comfy, they lose that fire.

Instead of doing what it takes to keep stoking the flames, they begin to see what little maintenance of the fire that they can get by with.

Rather than infecting others with that fire, they damp it down, just to get by.

They have what they need, everybody else can be damned.

So, the trick is in keeping that fire alive.

We do that best by rewarding participants in the ecosystem.

Not just the already privileged, but the folks that have just walked in the door.

Steemit is better than it was pre hf19, at least now the math isn't so stacked against us, even if the socializing still is.

Whenever the privileged, by ganging up or just having a lot of money, pick winners everybody else loses.

That is just a fact of the Steemit math.

What do folks hear about us today?

Do they hear that we meet folks at the door, and make sure that their post gets at least a dollar, if it meets the barest of essentials?

Then how can we expect that folks will knock harder on the doors?

Maybe buy their way in?

The truth may be that we don't need more users, but that we should treat the users that we have better.

If you take the time to look over my introduction post's comments, you will see, clearly illustrated, why steem has failed to hit the stratosphere.

I have been made less than welcome.

Sure I exist on the fringe, but when those that team up to reap more rewards actively, consistently refuse to support those that don't meet their comportment standards, even after sticking it out for a year, why would a newb stick around for months of what I have been handed with no hope of change?

Especially, once the gangs drop them from their rolls?

If they are getting it for free from the gangs, why would they invest real money?

This is why I am adamantly against teaming up to reward folks.

Sure it looks good on paper, but it is artificial.

Rather than delegating your power, use it on posts that have 0 payouts.

They are harder to find now than they have been in the past, but I see them in /created/anarchy even today.

If you don't see many, that is because I voted a bunch of them.

Could you do the same?

Will you?
