Adam Richard Sandler (Brooklyn, United States, September 9, 19663) is an American actor, comedian, musician, producer, screenwriter.

Born in a Jewish family of Russian origin and raised in Manchester (New Hampshire), Sandler had the first encounter with comedy at age 12, with a spontaneous performance at the Basthon club. Since then he regularly performed in comedy clubs throughout the state while earning the title of Fine Arts from the University of New York.

He debuted at the cinema with Going overboard in 1989. From then on he began working on films that reached box office success, such as Coneheads, Happy Gilmore, The Dream Boy, The Waterboy, A Great Dad and Mr. Deeds.

In his filmography include the comedies Click, Blow Bass, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, accompanied by Kevin James, aggressive Executive, who starred with Jack Nicholson, Intoxicated Love, by Paul Thomas Anderson, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe as best actor and the romantic comedy 50 first dates, along with Drew Barrymore.

Several years ago, Sandler launched a website that includes mini-movies starring himself, the "Happy Madison Productions" team, and his dog Meatball, all of them in their daily routine

Vanity Fair published the list of the Top 40 celebrities in Hollywood with more income throughout 2010. Sandler was ranked number 7 on the list, won an estimated $ 50 million for his films.
