Been here just 24 hours, but my first impression is that Steemit is drowning in plagiarism, cut and paste everywhere..... !
If people are just able to create articles using large sections of other peoples work then we are in trouble!... Likely people churning out things all day long eclipsing those that work hard and create their own original content.
