In history lessons we must have heard several times the term Silk Road.
A trade-specific pathway that connects mainland China with regions throughout Asia. The line itself largely passes through the Gobi desert which is the largest desert in Asia.
Now in this desert there is an oasis called the Crescent Lake is very beautiful. The oasis located near the town of Dunhuang is named Crescent Lake because the shape of the pool that is in this oasis wins very similar to the shape of the crescent moon.
The beautiful shape not only refresh the eyes but also able to give a fresh feel in the middle of Gobi arid desert wasteland. This oasis used to be used by traders who passed the Silk Road to rest on their trade journey.
But now this oasis has been transformed into a resotr that can be used by the tourists who want to feel the sensation and beauty of the Lake of the Moon Crescent.
Not only that, the Chinese government even built a souvenir center in this Oase which shows that this oasis is a place that quite a lot visited by tourists.
