Hi steemian, sad news back coming from the world of football. yes, one of the footballers of the Serie A Italian League has died.
Captain Fiorentina, Davide Astori, died in Udine at the age of 31 years, on Sunday (4/3/2018) local time.
Not yet known the main cause of Davide Astori died. According to The Guardian, Astori breathed his last while in the hotel with his colleagues ahead of Serie A's next match against Udinese on Sunday.
"Fiorentina was very shaken and was forced to announce bad news, our captain, Davide Astori, passed away," Fiorentina's official statement said.
"For this sad situation, especially to honor the family of the players, we expect media sensitivity," the statement continued.
Lega Serie A confirmed, Udinese vs Fiorentina match will be postponed following this incident.
