I totally agree with you because I am born late 50's and I experience the huuuuge difference.
My " leftover" :) brain cells are challenged more than ever, filtering daily, way too much, overwhelming information. I am truly thankful for my little partner called the "smart phone".
Sometimes I have to distance myself, hide it and "shut down", as much as I have to distant myself from annoying friends or even family.
