This camera-embedded device is used to detect vehicles as well as such outputs traffic flow information like volume, occupancy, presence, speed, classification, in addition to queue length in multiple lanes. All this is made possible via processing images taken by a monitoring camera which is installed over the roads.

The data and images can be transmitted to the Traffic Management Center. The Traffic Management Center realizes optimal signal control by making use of the data and can monitor the status of congestion with the images.
