Software 3D WildCats has been developed over the past 12 months with specific intent of generating market leading all-in-one solution for 3D scanning, including scan merge, direct conversion and editing tools, stl fly for 3D printing. The project has produced a Kickstarter high precision 3d scanner with software that is easy to use and yet very powerful for under $1000/£1000 whilst remain flexible in design. Scanner software communication based on a scripting language developed in house and the PDF will be available to allow users to create there own control software.
Kickstarter is to complete kit parts to build a high-resolution 3D scanner, comprehensive construction manual (PDF) and our unique Wildcats 3D scanner software or if you prefer ready-built scanner (95% complete) all the technical bits do. High precision 3D Desktop Scanner Kit/fully built all scans shown for this project is actually a scan with no edit or clean up. The maximum dimensions of the scan are 220mm high by 220mm width in the prototype. the software is capable of high resolution scans with raw resolution 0.1 mm steps (software enhanced 0.01 mm), with one eye always on the future of the software has been written to address the precision 0.001 mm, resolution 0.1 degree rotation and pot scan resolution of 0.05 mm. Kickstarter as supporting software will receive life time updates as we add more features and more powerful. Although the software is only in beta form when it is already producing very good results.
Below there is a screenshot image when Screen scanner software after the command has been executed, the Script Home Builder screen, during the scan using a blue laser is increased, the screen displays the partial 3D scan can be accessed at any time during the scan shows the progress and make adjustments to the settings if needed, Adjustment sliders for brightness, threshold scan, focus, smoothing etc., these can be adjusted during the life of the scan, the Data screen displays the raw and processed data points and commands sent to the scanner hardware, tools, calibration and alignment screen.
Of course all these features and more will be free upgrades to kickstarter supporters. The Wildcats have 3D design for independent Akurát day affordable using large kujungi scanner anywhere and 360 degree scanner self-catering rooms but it will be new kickstarters. so it can be and start working without the tagline to tie the computer during the scan to pc to transfer procurement analysis points after completion.
