Have you ever imagined machines that learn to do activities on their own in an autonomous way?

Honestly I hadn't done it either, but today while researching for my fighters I discovered that it is something totally possible with:

Generative Query Network, GQN.


This system is so amazing that it could lay the foundation for the creation of machines that can learn about the world autonomously simply by using their own sensors without the need for long-term training or human-tagged data sets (such as today's machine vision systems).

This system is so amazing that it could lay the foundation for the creation of machines that can learn about the world autonomously using their own sensors without being trained with datasets labeled by humans (such as today's machine vision systems).

GQN is also presented as a promising way to control robotic devices; once trained, its predictive capabilities allow it to "observe" robotic arms, for example, from different angles using only one fixed camera, meaning that less unprocessed data is needed for accurate positioning and control.
