Community steemit Hi, this is my entry to the #TIL challenge (today I learned), where they can all the users of steem participate and write about what you have learned today. I am currently learning about equipment such as Directv and Movistar TV thanks to my brother who is teaching me about the telecommunications branch.
Below I will share a knowledge acquired and considered a discovery since so-called mind Movistar universal control does not work with the Directv receiver.

Everyone knows that directv and movistar, are companies that offer worldwide satellite television service. turns out that today I was thinking if the remote movistar works with directv decoder (decoder is the technological name for this type of equipment) since it is universal and has a special process to be able to program them automatically.
What I learned today
In this case I will teach them the code to program any device either: video player, TV and decoder which is the case of this post with universal control of movistar (movistar is black and white is DIRECTV).
1. the universal control movistar has a button called SET, they should press a few seconds. the Red led will Flash 2 times.
2 after the 2 flashes should enter the code 991 and will give other 2 blinks
3 press the number 0 and will have 2 blinks more.
4. already completed once steps 1 to 3, put in front of the directv and press CH + little by little until the receiver is turn off (this process is for the codes to be sent the receiver)
5. When is off, press SET to save the settings. You can then press power to turn on and check that everything works correctly.
They have to take into account that to program the players tv and dvd, or bluray, in step 3 instead of using the number 0 will be used for TV 1 and 2 for the dvd - so simple
