THE PEOPLE OF HUMILIATED GOD

II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, on whom my name is named, make themselves low and come to me in prayer, searching for me and turning from their evil ways; then I will give ear from heaven, overlooking their sin, and will give life again to their land.

If my people shall humble themselves, upon whom neither name is invoked, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sins, and I will heal their land.

Currently our beloved country Venezuela, is going through some of the biggest crises in religious, economic, social and cultural, coupled with all this the people of God has gone out into the streets to preach the Gospel and thus give a word of hope to all those souls who feel anguished and desperate.

As a people of God in addition to preaching the good news of salvation every Friday we meet in public places (squares, parks, ambulances, avenues) to cry and moan for our nation Venezuela, because we know that the only one who can transform it is Jesus Christ through of the humiliation of his people.

As we can see the Lord in this verse demands his people to humiliation, is not demanding humiliation to the unconverted, but their children. He wants us to bow our heads and submit ourselves to his authority, to humble ourselves we are breaking all altives, arrogance, anger, pride and we are recognizing that we need God's help at all times.

We can not realize and achieve what we want, but it is through their help. The Lord is the only one who can give us comfort in this moment of tribulation and anguish that is going through our country. It is not through any earthly man but through the Almighty the King of kings and Lord of lords that a new Venezuela will be born.

Many times I have asked myself how many times the people of God have stopped humiliating themselves, they have stopped praying and then the consequences come because they have not put their trust in God.

The Lord wants a sad people, a people determined to hate sin, to leave their bad habits, habits; Sin takes us away from God and therefore brings destruction so we must do what is good before God.

When we leave the bad roads, the old man's behavior, the Lord before we beg him is attentive to our demand (Isaiah 65:24 and it will be that before they cry, I will answer, even when they are talking, I will have heard). Our prayers are heard by God and He has heard the prayer of his children and will respond in his time, not in the time of man.

And this is the confidence we have in him, that if we ask something according to his will, he hears us.

And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests we have made to him.
