The Rejoicing of Bringing in a Harvest!

One day I was reading this psalm and the Lord spoke to me. He said, “I have a reserved and Special Joy only for those involved in the Great Commission. Out of this how I came to this message of the “Reserved Stock” of the wine or joy of heaven.

Wine is many times pararelled with the Joy of the Lord! This Heavenly Wine is different than earthly wine, but there are also similarities.

Similarities:

• It will make you want to dance and sing.
• This wine will make you bold while under the influence.
• This wine will make you do what you normally wouldn’t do. It takes away your inhibitions!

It has no bad side effects! No hangover or cotton mouth! You don’t wake up the next day with regrets or embarrassment.

The prior two messages on joy are linked beleow if you are interested. I think I may follow with some messages on “How to Evangelize” although I hate to put it in a “How to” as each person should and will have a unique approach. God makes us all unique and how He uses us will also be unique. You cannot find two people in the entire bible whose ministry was even similar, but they all worshipped the same God.

If we look at the text we see the ones who reap with joy, first sewed in tears!
Psa 126:5 “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

Why is this? Let me ask another question. Why would any stranger or even an acquatance or friend ever listen to you or I? The world is full of voices clamouring for our attention. There is always someone trying to sell us something, scam us. Sadly the most vocal, going door to door are the cults. What is unique about us that will make someone pause and listen?

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
Someone who sewed in tears, because they have a real compassion for the lost! I believe when Jesus preached on hell, He did it with a lament in His Voice! I hear some preachers with self righteousness and judgment without love. And then they say, nobody came to Christ because their hearts were hard, but the truth is, the preacher lacked love!

Mark 1:40, “Jesus moved with compassion, reached out and touched the leper”. Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus. A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief!

Isa 53:2 “For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

Do you see here, that Jesus was not a handsome man! “He had no beauty that we should desire Him”.

So what made the multitudes follow Him? Why would people listen for hours on the hillside in a remote place? Because of His Great Compassion!

2Co 6:6 “By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,”

Love that is not fake or faked! You cannot fake this love! If you really want people to listen, your love has to be genuine. This love is acquired at the feet of Jesus! This Love is learned on Abba’s Lap! This love is shed abroad in our Hearts by the Holy Spirit.
We need to travail! We need to ask and receive His Love. You cannot give something you have not received yourself! God will never do through you what He has not already done in you!

We can freely receive this Love! This is not a theory, but an experience an exchange from heaven to our own hearts. The Love of the Heavenly Father for His Own sons and daughters.

Does your heart break for the lost? If not, ask God to break your heart for the lost! Do you lack compassion? Ask and receive that your Joy may be full!

We have to know the message! We have to have a sure Word! We have to have had this born again experience ourselves. When you are truly born from above, a transaction has taken place. Then we have to keep the message within our own experience. Walking in the Light that we have! But we need to be students of the Word! Rightly dividing the Word of Truth!

My personal opinion is you cannot wait until everything is perfect! God has already commanded us to Go! We don’t have to wait to do something that God has already told us to do in His Word. Also I have found, when someone asks a question I don’t know the answer to, many times the Holy Spirit gives me wisdom right on the spot. Other wise, we have to say we don’t know, but we will find out. Either way we learn!
Love and Humility! Nobody wants to listen to our arrogance!

2Ti 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

The person truly engaged in the Great Commission, will grow spiritually at a faster rate than those who don’t! The law of reciprocity works even with the sharing of the Word.

One day I was pleading with God for some more revelation! He spoke in my heart, “You have to gice away what you already have, then I will give you more.” Knowledege puffeth up! Even biblical knowledge, if there is all study and no doing! People that can quote bible verses and scripture addresses from all over the Bible. Even wicked men can do this! Even the devil knows God’s Word.

Our knowledge means nothing without action. We really don’t truly believe until we do! If we truly love, there will be action.

Doubtless we will rejoice as we bring in a harvest! In the other messages I showed, in the original language, rejoice means to spin around. The word says DOUBTLESS! Without a doubt those who weep for the lost, who go forth in His Love, carrying the true message, will come back, spinning around with joy, bringing a bountiful harvest of souls!
God has a Soul Winners Crown reserved for His people doing their part in the Great Commission.

Wherever we are in the world there is a harvest ready! We should go in the Power of the Holy Spirit. We should preach the Good News to the poor, set the captives free, we should come with demonstration. When the Gospel is preached, the Godpel happens! Hallelujah! Heal the sick, cast out demons!
Our message is not just about getting to heaven, but getting heaven to people while they are still here on earth. “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”.

Some say, there is no harvest where they are. These Words of Jesus are universal!

Luk 10:2 “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”

So many times we are asking God to bless what we do. I don’t believe God has any desire or reposibility to do this! Our prayer should be, “God, what are you doing in my place?”, and “What is important to you?”. Lord can I be part of what you are doing. This needs to be our prayer!
If we are in the same place, doing the same thing God is interested in, the sparks will fly!

There is a harvest! The greatest Joy after having our own sins washed, is to help others be rescued, set free, born again, discipled.

Note: If you are already sharing your faith, take someone along and show them how! Many Christians, truly love the Lord, but have no example. In the states I had 21 people from 7 denominations that would evangelize with me. We called ourselves “The Jonathan Company”, because of the scripture,
1Sa 14:6b “for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.”
