SCRIPTURE REVIEW | PSALMS 23:1 | The Lord Is My Shepherd

Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

The above scripture is so popular among Christians and non Christians and the reason been that it is a prayer to God and a claim of God's promises over one's life from the bible but many things tend to be over looked from that scripture.
Before we come to the point of saying "i shall not want" then he must first be our Shepherd.

WHO IS A SHEPHERD
A Shepherd is a person who takes care of his sheep and lead through paths that there will be no danger and trouble.
He takes them to places where they can find refuge and food.

Haven know the above, the great question that should bother you and i is this.
Have we actually allowed the Lord to be our Shepherd?
There is no way we will be saying i shall not want but have not allowed the Shepherd to lead us to the place of abundance of supply and availability of all that one needs to succeed in life through to eternity.
For him to be your Shepherd means you must accept Jesus into your life and let him lead you
"Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Allow him today into your life to be your Shepherd if you have not.
