Mark 6:34 ’And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.”

Leadership entails a lot of challenges and experience. Leadership is one of the things Jesus portrayed while earth. The Bible told us about the feeding of the multitude. When Jesus say the multitude scattered everywhere like sheep without Shepherd, He decided to teach them and after teaching He fed them. He enriched their lives physically and spiritually. This is one significance of a leader. In our case, we can say the Pastor or Reverend is the leader of the church. Jesus showed an good example of a leader's compassion as He gathered them as a church and taught them many things relating to the kingdom of God.

ln the book of Matthew, in the same story of the feeding of the multitudes, it was recorded that Jesus saw the multitudes as sheep without a shepherd and He commanded that;

”The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest

Jeremiah 3:14-15
"Return, backsliding children,” says Yahweh; “for I am a husband to you. I will take one of you from a city, and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion."
"I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding."

As Christians, we must be learn to submit ourselves to our leaders and be prayerful because being a Shepherd is not an easy task thereof.
