Envy is considered by Christianity as a capital sin because it generates other sins; The term "capital" does not refer to the magnitude of the sin but to the fact that it gives rise to many other sins and breaks with the love of neighbor that Jesus proclaims.

Perhaps you say that sinners "are doing well", "enjoy life", "live better" than me who keep the Word of God, calm, life on earth is temporary, you keep saving your Faith that the Lord Himself will give you the crown of justice.
Never feel envy for someone, and always do good without looking at who, love your neighbor as yourself!
