I keep hearing this tragic report of the church shooting in Dagestan as I drive home from work in the evening. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the deaths of these five women, as well as the five other injured victims. Although I have seen no speculation regarding the fact that all five fatalities were women, it would not surprise me to find out that Islamic misogyny played a role in where the shooter chose to aim his weapon.
