DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS

Now therefore give me this mountain whereof the Lord spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there and that the cities were great and fenced, if so be the Lord would be with me then I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said

In Numbers Chapter 13 Joshua and Caleb accompanied by 10 other israelites went to spy out the promise land where they saw mountain of Hebron where the sons of Anak lived(V. 15). However due to his different spirit the Lord promised Caleb the mountain of Hebron; the land where his feet has touched (Numbers 14:24).
After forty five years of waiting and battles, Caleb and the Israelites finally made it into the promise land. However, though everyone was rejoicing Caleb was not satisfied. He still had his eye set on the mountain the Lord had promised him despite the fact that it was still possibly occupied by giants.
This faith is what we should possess as Christians. Sometimes the Lord places a vision in our hearts but after years of struggling in order to get there, we begin to settle for the closest reality we can find. Though we should be grateful for wherever God has brought us, we shouldn't lose sight of the vision we have seen and still push forward until we have possessed in fullness whatever the Lord has promised us.

LIFE APPLICATION
Whether it is a business or ministry, etc. don't let the struggles on the way cause you to lose sight of the vision or settle for less.

PRAYER
Lord, may I not lose sight of the glorious destiny you have purposed for me in Jesus name.
