I like to read up on nerd and geek culture and stay abreast of genre media developments in books, tv, movies, video games, interactive media, etc.
I don't have many particular authors I follow, more portals that contain the information I am looking for. The two I visit most often are Starwarsnewsnet.com and IMDB (I really miss the IMDB forums :( )
However I do check in with two youtubers on a daily basis- Funhaus (a subsidiary of Rooster Teeth), and Redlettermedia.
