I remember when I was thirteen ; that is when the journey to the teens world began. I was more curious and craved to explore life to the fullest.
Curiously, I went to Mum on a cool evening, knelt beside her arm chair and whispered, "Mum ! What does it cost to fall in love with the right man like Dad?"
Mum's countenance brightened . She gave a wide smile and striking my her with her palm, drew me closer to hair chest and said
" Oh cool! My baby is growing into a woman.
Baby, she continued, there's never been a right man
Neither was your dad
You choose your man when the time is right
Present him to God and make him right
Yes! right for you
And learn to tolerate his wrongs
Your love for him will always make his wrongs right
So when you find him let your love lead him aright " she nodded, looking into my curious eyes.
Today, I have found my Mr Right
Ready to tolerate and live with his wrongs
Together, we will grow old
To build an empire fit for us
