RE: Is the Steem ecosystem in disequilibrium? (Part 5 – Combination of solutions)

Congratulations on completing your 5-post analytical series! :)
it is quite an extensive thorough work. sad to see though that it still gets VERY little Attention and exposure! (I'll Resteem it to give it a small boost)

Just a couple of remarks : although it does address Economical (financial / business) issues, more than majority of posts out there which mostly or only talk about thechy stuff - I have not noticed anything mentioned about the Trade of STEEM coin on Exchanges. (de facto: Ctrl+F search on page by word "exchange" doesn't show any 1 single resutl; neither does search for word "trade", except in words related to "blocktrades")

My point is: if we talk about Economy, then it is related to Profit which everyone here expects to earn. that Profit in term largely depends on the STEEM coin price on Exchanges. while all the solutions and changes detailed and elaborated here - deal mostly with technical stuff within the system itself. (although it does indirectly help to potentiall boost STEEM price through inspiring Authors and Curators to have more interest in the improved platform, thus potentially may encourage them to Invest more...)

I have further discussed this in my post today about Selling Price Vs Cost price and Demand Vs Supply.

another thing which I feel is covered not sufficiently here is the Core of the Platform: which is the business model mostly similar to some long-term HYIP (or Investments into High Yeild Corporate Bonds aka Junk Bonds). which IMO is the MAIN reason of the whole "Ecosystem Disequilibrium"!!!
because it is sort of "built-in flaws" - which affect all the other things. and I would dare to say even more: Until and Unless that MAIN issue is addressed properly - ALL the proposed solutions and ideas would have little or not effect at all on the overall state of affairs!

which perhaps we already witness now, with latest announced by Ned changes (70% staff layout, etc) - if things were good and well in this so called "Ecosystem" (= "sophisticated HYIP on blockchain", IMO) - I guess it would not have come to such drastic measures and practically fears of Steemit shutting down completely (as many discuss in comments all over the Steemit itself and on web)
