يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَنْ يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
{QS. Al-Ahzab : 59}
Islam glorifies women, there is no religion as noble as Islam. Allah says :
"Hi Prophet, say to your wives, your daughters and the wives of the believers:" Let them stretch out their veils all over their bodies ". That is so that they are easier to recognize, therefore they are not disturbed. And Allah is the Forgiving, the Most Merciful.” (QS. Al-Ahzab: 59)
According to the clerical jumhur from friends to contemporary scholars agree that what is meant by the hijab is loose and covering from top to bottom, not tight and not short. Because if tight and short the same form the body and still clarify the body parts that should be closed.
Rasusulullah said :
"There are two classes of hellish inhabitants I have never seen:"The first is a people who have whip like a cow tails to beat people and the second the women are dressed but naked, waddled, their heads like the sloping camel's hump. Such a woman will not go to heaven and will not smell it, but the smell can be smelled from so many and so.” [HR. Muslim no. 2128].
