We are excited to announce the launch of our shopping portal “steemmart.tk”, the first e-commerce site to accept steem dollars (SBD) as mode of payment.
It has been a long awaited and long cherished dream of the steemit community to buy products with SBD.
To start off we have put together a list of 164 products. Will be adding more products on weekly basis.
Steemmart is taking a brave step by eliminating the large consumer base which uses only fiat currencies and by opting to accept new digital currency SBD.
Registration:
Registration is a must to shop. All users are required to register with a valid Email Id.
By next week will have option of signin with Facebook and Google accounts.
Payment:
Only accepted mode of payment is SBD. (Please note all payments are mentioned in Dollars, represent steem dollars not USD)
Currently all payments are manually processed. Once a user selects the product and checkout an Invoice is sent to users Email ID.
User has to send the amount mentioned on the Invoice to steemit account @steemmart .
Once we receive the payment we will send the confirmation status to users Email.
It takes 3 to 4 Hours for payment confirmation. Please note we are in the process of streamlining things and getting more resources onboard, so please bear with us.
Note: We are working on automation of payments. Will announce shortly.
Once you receive the email confirmation of your order, please send the SBD to account @steememart with the order number in memo.
Refund:
Please note once you placed the order and made the payment there is no refund.
We will refund only if the product is damaged.
Shipping:
The price includes shipping charges. There is no extra cost.
Imp Note: Please note we are just starting and orders placed take time to be delivered, as they are being shipped from different parts of the world. We are working on logistics. Currently the delivery time is 10-15 days (We are not Amazon:) But will try to be there very soon with your help!!). Please kindly bear with us. In a short time we will be putting in place a shipment tracking system for the customers.
