Title: Steemit! More than just a money making platform? YES IT IS
I joined steemit about 2 months ago because i heard you can make money on the platform but believe me after just 1 months on the platform, I realise that i haven't made the money intended, but i am happy to be a part of steemit community because now i realized there is more to it than just making money. It has really added a lot of value to me and it has increased my knowledge in a lot of things. I will never stop using this platform because i want to continue to increase in knowledge and values.
Well enough of the bluff about how it has added value to me, i will like to provide some evidence to prove this;
I am a computer science graduate but steemit actually made me discover my writing and creative skills and my second post on the steemit platform is my first evidence, you can check it out here and its not just about the message but also the creativity of the image i designed myself.
Secondly i discovered that sharing ideas and learning in the midst of a group of people can make you a better person, and i realized that no matter how good or creative you are, you can still make mistakes and be corrected on some of your works. In respect to this i belong to a couple of channels that consist of intellectual people where your posts can be reviewed and corrected and to this effect my third post was better than my second post on the platform, you can also check out my third post here. Shoutout goes to @samest of @airhawk-projects for being supportive and ready to always make my posts better, he made me realize how i could claim the ownership of the image designed by me which i didn't do on my second post on the platform but i corrected that on my third post which i included my copyright on the image, i have the image below
Steemit is a school of creativity, knowledge, hard work and value, and with all these we can make the World a better place
Advice to all. Please try as much as possible to encourage people who are not on the platform to join because there are a lot of this we can learn on here that will make us add value to our community and the world at large. and to those on the platform just to make money, i will like you to see beyond making money because there is more to steemit than just making money. Enjoy the beauty of steemit and grow with it. Thanks
