They chatted for a few minutes about the company and what the company does. During the conversation, Mr. Prandecki mentioned that they are using the STEEM blockchain! He mentioned we have 200k users active in the STEEM community (not sure if that's accurate) and happily mentioned that we have 3 second block times. The host asked if they will be focusing on other type of projects since they have this great platform with 3 second block times and transparency. Mr. Prandecki mentioned that there are plenty of other opportunities that can be used with the STEEM platform for review fraud in a variety of other industries; Mr. Prandecki mentioned that they are solely focused on home repair.
The Bloomberg host asked is STEEM part of Ethereum? Mr. Prandecki declared that STEEM is it's own blockchain and has nothing to do with Ethereum.
After about a few minutes of chatting, their segment ended. I was really hyped to hear this on Bloomberg because it's one of the leading platforms for investing news in the stock market. A huge demographic that loves to invest just listened to this and got exposed to the power of the STEEM blockchain. I have a feeling we will be seeing more exposure like this in the future!
