The Edirne Governorate will restore the building belonging to 2 persons within the scope of the work initiated to remove 463 mosques from the civil architecture sample in the city again. There was a restoration of the site in the city before.
Edirne Governorship and Edirne Tourism and Industry Inc. (ETUR), the work was started last year for the restoration of 463 mosque examples of civil architecture in the Kaleiçi district, the majority of which are located in the Kaleici district.
Within the scope of the study, a historical mansion in the Kaleiçi district was restored in the last few months. With the invitation of the governor Günay Özdemir, retired teachers Ayşe Zehra Aykon and Ahmet Gürgen have assigned their mansions to the governorship for 25 and 30 years for restoration.
If they make temporary allocation to us as Governor's Office, we will make restorations and present them to Edirne's history, culture and tourism.
