Building your Steemit credibility.

On Steemit, it is a known fact that credibility is much like respect; it has to be earned. As it is important in the centralized world so also it is in the decentralized world.
Many get into acts that taints their credibility all in the name of wanting a quick buck.
These tips will help you build a credible stand here.

  • Communicate effectively. To establish credibility as a Steemian, you must be able to effectively communicate your intentions and aspirations through your articles, your comments and personal interactions. You should be able to portray an image that will reflect on your Steemit activities as it would your personal life.

  • Involve your readers. You as a writer and creator should be able to involve your readers because you cannot build credibility on your own. When you drop a piece make sure it is interactive as it is educating. Writing is a way of communicating your thoughts and ideas and doing it and involving your readers in the discussion makes all the difference. Do this both offline and online and you will amazed at the results.

  • Be objective. What is the value proposition of your Steemit journey? Are you here for the bucks and will do just about anything to get it?
Even if you are an expert in your field(blogging about stuff), you still have opportunities for growth. Remember there is always a learning curve in the field of collaboration. Admitting that there are things you don’t know, and expressing that you are willing to work at finding the answers makes you better equipped person.

  • Reaching out. Lots of times, we expect so much from others when we never go the extra length to give a little. As a Steemian you are creating pieces, masterpieces if you may and you must be willing to reach out and be a help to someone who needs it. Steemit.com is not really about You, it is about the community. You and the others.

  • Do the talk. You must be ready to be the talk and do it. Many talk and they never bother to do as they speak. This is more like the Barry White song, "practice what you preach." You cannot tell others to be good while you are not making any effort to be better yourself. You must be a signpost of your preaching.

Steemit is evolving and you must remain ahead otherwise you will be closed out.

Credibility is key!
