Hey everyone! The time has finally arrived! Many of you have said that you're eager to learn more about real estate and get an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how houses are designed, built and remodeled.
This is the first project that I'll share with all of you. It's a renovation project on a house that we're looking to complete in the next 2 months and then hopefully sell the house by May of 2018.
This post will serve as an introduction to the project, I'm going to show you what's going to be changed and where the changes are going to be made. My next post will go more in-depth on the numbers, the specific timelines for the project, some details about working with the contractors, etc.
Also, don't forget to leave any questions or suggestions in the comments, I'm looking for more ways to show you all how real estate works and I'm excited to see where this series takes us as this project progresses and my new projects begin!
For some context, the house was just recently vacated and we've begun the process of ripping everything out to prepare for the renovations. Here's the list of items that we're working on:
Location | Changes |
---|---|
Exterior | |
Kitchen | |
Basement | |
First Floor | |
Powder room | |
Hall Bathroom | |
Hall Laundry | |
Master bathroom | |
Second Floor | |
Garage |
That's all for this post! My next post will be later today and will feature pictures of the house as it currently stands along with some commentary about the above changes and which pictures relate to which changes! Thank you so much for reading and please don't forget to answer the QOTD before you go!
Here's the Question of The Day, don't forget to post your answers in the comments!
QOTD: What is your opinion about this format for real estate posts? Do you have any suggestions to make this series of posts better?
Thanks for reading! Don't forget to leave your thoughts below and I look forward to seeing you in the comments!
