RE: Why Does Steem Lag in a Bull Market for Cryptocurrencies?

I'm not sure the price has a reason, but if it did it might be because this place is still mostly full of posts saying how awesome steemit is and very few posts that display any evidence of the promise of censorship resistance. Until/unless there is some serious effort to encourage controversial/illegal topics, Steem is just another place to shit post. As such I am still firmly in the "Steemit is a pile of shit" camp.
