I sure hope @ned and the guys know what they are doing. I know there is a rather large spam problem, I did find it interesting that they left the transactions cost so low... In transaction memo's is where I actually see the most spam on my account, from all the bots advertizing... But I guess the exchanges need those to be pretty high, plus many of the witnesses run bots that need to use them too.

It looked like one fix was in place for the RC, I just hope too much damage was not done. I actually like this place.

I am curious, about a lot of things. I'm pretty sure that steem inc has put up quite a bit of money on the project, without a real means to support itself other than the steem that they hold control. For this thing to continue, It has to scale, which requires resources, which require money and investment on hosting nodes etc. It seems to me that steemit is not the planned go forward platform, I really think that is what the SMT's are meant to be. I just think that it is going slower than some would like, or the available resources would allow. If that is the case the people on steemit would probably help..... or at least try to, and probably be more understanding....
