STEEM and SBD withdrawals and deposits have been disabled on Poloniex for the better part of a year now. I can find post from 2016 that were inquiring about this, yet what I can't find are answers. Why has this been going on for so long? Is steem essentially nearly impossible to liquidate? Issues are understandable but this is ridiculous, there have been other currencies that were temporarily disabled but none have been down for this long a duration.
If anyone has any answers as to why or even speculations, please don't hesitate to comment. Poloniex is among the largest and most populated exchanges, this impact everyone who holds a stake in steem or SBD.
