Steemit shows Bitcoin how its meant to be DONE

I have been covering the Bitcoin scaling debate for a long time - an issue that Steem managed to solve overnight. Yeah that's right, it took steem a couple of hours to solve what Bitcoin tried to do for over a year.

Increasing the Blocksize

The issue is with blocksizes - how much information should be stored every few minutes. Bitcoin is trying to increase the blocksize (called blockweight after segwit) from 1MB to 2MB, and it's been trying to do that for years now. Steem managed to increase blocksize from 64k blocks to 128k blocks almost overnight. It's that easy. In fact, its so easy that the post is trending on reddit/r/btc

Thanks to reddit user FUBAR-BDHR for posting this up.

Steem is Epic

This is some really awesome work guys, and it shows that from a technology front, we're well covered. The worst thing is to not be able to move forward because of endless arguing. This really made my day, thank you Steem!
