Q1 Next Year, Smart Media Tokens (SMTs) will be released. There is NO WAY if the market behaves even somewhat rationally that Steem will not have a price increase based on that.
Steem is $0.78 right now; a lot of the reason this is is that it is falling in line with the rest of the Crypto Market. Ethereum is below $200, Bitcoin is at about $6300, and the market cap of the entire crypto realm is as low as it was November 2017! This is a sale of epic proportions! If you believe in Crypto at all and you believe in Steem as a means to expand the social internet ecosystem into a new micro-economic landscape, then you must too believe that Steem price will rise. With SMTs coming out, we will see Steem hit top 10 again; that is my belief. Dolphins will be made during the next few weeks.
If you don't have at least 1000 Steem, this will be the time to buy it. 1000 Steem can easily become valued at $10,000 USD and it can happen in the blink of an eye. This is not a pump; this is just me looking at Ethereum, the easy-to-use Smart Contract Creation blockchain, a blockchain that has a smaller user base than the DApps on top of the Steem Blockchain have. So, objectively, if the success is even somewhat inline for Steem upon release of a similar mechanism, Smart Media Tokens, then Steem can have a LOT of upward momentum! I'm going to be loading up as I can over the next few weeks/month, because this is insanely cheap and clearly a result of the entire market in a downtrend (simply take a look at the top 100 cryptocurrency graphs and you'll see there are HUGE similarities). Steem is going nowhere and Steemit is going nowhere, so top up, become a dolphin (the smartest of all Earth Creatures), and start swimming to freedom! :)
