the activity on Steem has become lower in the last few weeks. This is almost only because of the small price that Steem now has. SBD should stay at $ 1. That is normal. There are many reasons why Steem has such a small price. One of the biggest is that there are a lot of accounts that write a few times and then go in power down and sell everything in the account. This gives a massive price pressure because there are more people who sell than the ones who buy.
The problem is that many of them buy different altcoins that do not do anything and will not have any value in the future anyway. I understand those who buy food from this sale and use it to survive. These are not the people behind this post but Steem's as a catalyst for other crypto investments.
You should not power down and keep the SP. The more SP is blocked, the more value Steem has. It is a simple economic rule that says that the price of supply and demand is determined in a free market. If you have the opportunity to buy Steem at the low price, do it. So the value will increase and you paid very little for it. If Steem on $ 5 you've made over 500% ROI. Not bad, I would say.
Another reason is when you invest in something, you see it a bit different.
If all accounts were to buy a Steem every day, let's say not Steem, but 0.1 Steem, then 100,000 Steem would disappear from the market every day. In 10 days the million. That would massively increase the price of Steem after a few weeks.

die Aktivität auf Steem ist in den letzten Wochen kleiner geworden. Das ist fast nur wegen des kleinen Preises das Steem jetzt hat. SBD soll bei 1 $ bleiben. Das ist normal. Eins der größten ist das es sehr viele Konten die gibt die ein paar mal etwas schreiben und danach im Power Down sind und alles verkaufen was auf dem Konto war. Das Problem ist das viele davon verschiedene Altcoins kaufen die nichts machen und sowieso kein Wert haben werden in die Zukunft. Ich verstehe die die aus diesen Verkauf sich Essen kaufen und das zum überleben benützen. Über diese Leute ist nicht dieser Beitrag sondern die die Steem als Katalysator für andere Crypto Investitionen nützen.
Ihr solltet kein Power Down machen und die SP behalten. Desto mehr SP blockiert wird, desto mehr Wert hat Steem. Es ist eine einfache ökonomische Regel die sagt das der Preis von Angebot und Nachfrage bestimmt wird in einem freien Markt. Wenn ihr die Möglichkeit habt Steem zu dem kleinen Preisen zu kaufen, macht es. So wird auch der Wert steigen und ihr habt sehr wenig dafür bezahlt. Wenn Steem auf 5 $ habt ihr über 500% ROI gemacht. Nicht schlecht würde ich sagen.
