I know many of you may wonder how do you counter terrorism with pen and paper. It is possible. It is educating the public. Terrorism has no race or religion. Terrorism done in any name is just wrong and pure evil. No teaching of any faith in the world tells you that you must kill another to build your pathway to heaven.

Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT)

This was an event held this year by SEARCCT to increase public awareness. There is no better medium in raising awareness by the visual medium. To us cartoonist we have as much obligation to the community as our leaders. I am doing with part with my closest friends.

Lets Discard the Prejudice

I am personally quite disturbed when people brand certain people as terrorists. That is outright bigotry. It is true that IS (Islamic State) has used terrorism as their way to strike fear in people and they do not represent the true teaching of Islam. There are terror acts carried out by all faiths. It is us to right the wrong and it is also time for us to stop depending on politicians to solve this. We have to take proactive actions.

I want my children to grow up in a world where people respect each other and they respect each other's faith and belief. I want my children to know the right from the wrong. I wish my children will never see war and terror. Afterall the world is big enough for us all, why fight? Not enough oil, ride the bicycle. Not enough gold, don't wear jewellery. Not enough money, start blogging on Steemit. There is a solution to everything and it is never violence.

Lets stop terrorism where it starts, it starts with IGNORANCE.
