HashQuark Joins the Decred Network as a Voting Service Provider

HashQuark now joins the Decred network as one of its voting service providers, getting deeply involved in the process of Decred’s on-chain governance on behalf of the DCR holders.

Decred is a community-directed digital currency designed to be a superior store of value for generations to come. Its hybrid PoW+PoS consensus mechanism, transparent proposal and voting system, and continually funded treasury, make it secure, adaptable, and self-sustaining. Decred stakeholders collectively determine the policy, development plan, budget, changes to the consensus rules, and they approve the miners’ work. Each block reward compensates miners, stakeholders, and the Treasury.

HashQuark’s becoming one of Decred’s voting service providers heralds its continued efforts in building up a more enabling Decred ecosystem, followed by a lot more providers that will be joining the Decred network and working collaboratively for its long-term development. Likewise, a better developed Decred community will, in turn, lead to an even stronger presence of HashQuark in the world of blockchain, both inside and outside China.

Prior to joining Decred, HashQuark joined multiple public blockchains as one of their (genesis) validators, partner nodes, and bakers, including Cosmos, IRISnet, V SYSTEMS, CyberMiles, Cybex, VeChain, IOST, and Tezos. With Decred now going live on HashQuark, new staking services and campaigns will come in soon.
