Splinterlands Art Contest - Zintar Mortalis

ByCarmenYanes - copia.jpg

Happy dawn, happy weekend dear Steemians!!!

The design I just finished was for my participation in the Splinterlands of last week. But, for several problems I had, I could not do it and that did not allow me to participate that week, this time if I managed to make the FanArt of one of the invocation cards, it is Zintar Mortalis.

This is not really how I planned to do this work, my idea was that my Zintar design was invoking a card so the monster he is invoking would be coming out of the card ready to fight with his adversary... pitifully, time and The back pain I've had all this week did not let me be able to do it as I wanted.

Well, it will be on another occasion that I can do my idea but with another summoner card. ;)

Below you will see the process with images of how I worked on this design, the video will be ready soon when I have the time to edit it... I hope you like my version of this card and I would be very happy to know your opinions regarding my work.

As almost always everything started with a simple sketch but as I mentioned above, in the end I did not do what I wanted so I had to think about something different for this design.

In this step I chose the base colors based on the colors of the card and since this type of card is from the death part... I decided to do it with a darker color palette to give it an air of mystery.

Here I was starting to detail everything and I decided to change the color of the skin, this card only has skin on his hands and from what I saw is green, but I wanted to be a little more daring and in my version I put more skin and another tone.
