Serena Williams has come on the popular social media platform, Instagram to give an important update concerning her recent injury.
Recall that Serena Williams had to drop out of her match with Maria Sharapova due to an injury on her pec muscles which made it impossible for her to swing her shoulders.
Taking advantage of Instagram Stories, Williams gave some updates as regards the pectoral injury which made her withdraw from the French Open fourth round match with Sharapova.
In her comments, she stated that she just finished an examination with a doctor who gave her exciting news concerning the injury which has made her happy. She also noted that she will be having an MRI soon.
Williams also added that although such an injury has been quite much of a frustration, she hopes to continue going forward with the hope that her fans will be there always for her at the stands to keep cheering her on.
