Leroy Sane has clarified the controversies flowing in the media concerning his omission from the recently concluded 2018 World Cup.

He said the coach Joachim Low gave him genuine reasons before excluding him from his 23 man squad that went for the tournament.

The 2017/18 best young player in the English Premier League Sane was a surprising omission from German's team to world cup following his prominent performance throughout the last campaign for Manchester City, scoring 10 goals and setting up another 15.

He was a vital part of the team that led Pep Guardiola's men into winning the league.

The Germany coach Low is still in charge of the Germany national team despite his unimaginable low performance in the world cup, and the 22 year old play-maker has clarified that he has nothing against the coach concerning his exclusion.

"We discussed it before he omitted me, I was given enough reasons for the omission so everything is fine. It is very unfortunate that they got out of the tournament that way and that early.
