Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is undoubtedly on his greatest form since he started playing football as asserted by the Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic.
The 30 year old Croatian has twice consecutively scored the decisive penalties for his side to qualify against Denmark and Russia in round of 16 and quarterfinals respectively as they are set to face England in the semifinals.
The Croatia coach could not hide his words of praises for the Barcelona man in a conversation where he said of him to be on his best career form.
"As for me, I don't know of any other opinion, I can boldly say this is his best display so far, in fact as far as his football career is concerned. Maybe the remarkable campaign he had at Barcelona in the previous season has added to his morale and mode of play." The coach said.
Besides his decisive penalties at the knockout stages, Rakitic also registered a goal against the south American men Argentina in their group D encounter which saw them to a thrilling 3-0 win.
Croatia go against England in the semifinals on the 11th of July to decide who plays the final or goes to fight for the third place.
