After a year that Leonardo Bonucci switched from Juventus to AC Milan, the defender has made a sensational return to his former club saying he has only returned home and he is happy about that.
As the contract was agreed upon, the Italian Bonucci completed his move back to Turin on Thursday 1st in a swap contract that took Mattia Caldara to Milan to replace him.
Gonzalo Higuain as well moved to San Siro on a season-long loan with a clause for Milan to be able to buy later.
As expected, many Juventus fans who have not forgiven the defender for his sudden exit from the club earlier were seen booing and whistling against him following his arrival at the club's headquarters.
"I could not imagine this would happen again, the more reason I find it fantastic and I am happy to be back in Juve, I am happy to be back in Turin, I am happy to be back at home." The 31 year old told Juventus' YouTube channel.
