Taylor Swift gets on Spotify - there's no escape from streaming

Taylor Swift stood in such a strong opposition to the changes taking place in the music market that in 2014 it decided to disappear from Spotify and most similar platforms. Of course there was money. We had to wait three years to change the assignment. Thus, the artist returned to Spotify.

We are also currently listening to Amazon Prime Music, Pandora, Google Play Music, Tidal, and several other music streaming services. After some perturbations, but fans could still hear Swift on Apple Music.

The world media report is not about new technology, money or listeners, and petty traffic, which would overshadow the release of new album Kate Perry. As I noted from the chronicle duty, however, I do not attach great importance to it. Let the girls argue when they have to.

Not only Taylor Swift had to change

Although the scale is incomparable, the situation is similar to the former SP Records indigenous decision, whose management has determined that this music distribution model is bad and neither the company nor its artists intend to be a part of it. It did not take several years, and Sławomir Pietrzak appeared with the offer of his label on the hated streaming.

Since there is no escape. It's not so much the future, but the present. We can conjure reality to an infinite number of ways, but listeners love this way of dealing with music, and even the big star Taylor Swift was unable to stop the changes taking place in the industry. She could not even cut herself off, being the biggest opponent of music streaming. It perfectly illustrates what we are dealing with.

Convenience, mobility, price, playlist building, recommendation systems, or access to the library of songs that go into tens of millions of songs - are things you can not help but notice. Streaming is also a significant whip for piracy. It gives amazing opportunities to artists who can reach their listeners even faster. Without much financial resources, they can share songs or even whole discs that they would not pay for before. It's also exclusive material, because every platform wants to have something that does not have the rest.

As was the case with cassettes and recorders, it's time to put up with the changes and move on to the next day, with the discs getting to the point. They are thus the only attribute of the biggest fan and collector. Streaming is for everyone, it is simple, it is at your fingertips. The largest platforms have tens of millions paying users, and the trend is still growing strongly.
