The stout looking winger of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Adama Traore has chosen Mali over Spain. He played for Spain at under 16, under 17, under 19 and under 21 respectively.
He is 23 year old, he who was born and breed in Spain, although his parents are from Mali. He changed nationality to play for Mali on the International level rather than Spain.
It was shocking to many when he broke the news, that he was going to represent his mother land, Mali instead of Spain his place of birth.
It is expected that he chooses Spain over Mali but on the second thought I realized that it would be more favorable for him to play for Mali's international team.
Anyone who knows the Spanish international team would undoubtedly know that they have more than enough squads. He would be celebrated more in Mali and the reception will be overwhelming.
Spain would have gained him many other untold honours; trophies and awards. However, he would not be on demand in the team as he would be in the other.
