Hazard was anonymous on the left side of attack and the only player that really stood up to the plate was the player that Zidane was trying to get rid of. Gareth Bale was Madrid's best player by far. It really tells you something about how toothless the team are when their most experienced outcast played a stormer. 79 minutes will give Bale plenty if energy fir the golf in the morning. But he has not had enough training or game time for the club to get the players to realise that he is just below Ronaldo and Messi in the worlds best player ranks. So all is not happy in Madrid. The manager who has never been knocked out of a champions league yet is in big trouble if he cannot turn the clubs woes around. Some say he left the first time because he knew the club was on a downhill spiral. He has come back to save the club but I do think Zidane possesses that quality. It is now up to the most senior players at the club to come together and realise what firepower they have at their disposal. Hazard,Bale and Benzema is some front line.
