Despite complaining about a lack of time to prepare for the Champions League game at Chelsea on Tuesday night, Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde selected his strongest side possible this afternoon.

The Catalan giants currently lead La Liga by seven points, but despite the match in just a couple of days, Valverde still selected the likes of Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi to face Eibar.

Valverde's team travel to west London on Monday for the match with the Blues, with the pre-match press conference and open training session in the night before the match.

"It is more mental than physical, the weeks when you have four days rest you can manage better than three,” boss Valverde said at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
