Hello Football Peeps,
This was another brutal football week. Aaron Rodgers will most likely be gone for the season and that will open up the NFC North, so now anyone can win that division.
Onward to the Highlights:
The Team of old men, the Arizona Cardinals had a great game, not a full game, but a great game nonetheless against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Philadelphia is the Beast of the NFC, especially since Aaron Rodgers is OUT for a long time. Philly, really had a solid game against a stud team like Carolina.
The Miami Dolphins won a game this week and they beat a solid team. Way to go, Dolphins.
The Chicago Bears beat the Baltimore Ravens. This is a good win for this young team. I still like the Chicago Bears, they are young and they keep playing hard, you have to love that in a team.
Right now, you have to consider the Houston Texans as the top team in the AFC. They are firing on all cylinders on Offense. They should have beat Cleveland, and they beat Cleveland. Which is a good sign for a youngish team.
Minnesota, and New Orleans had great days today. Both putting a solid whopping on two good teams. I am not confident that both of these teams are going to continue to be this hot, but they sure put a kink into the NFC Standings.
I am going to be honest, the New York Jets had a great game against the Patriots. They also should have won this game, if it was not for the NFL Referees, who handed New England Patriots the win. The New York Jets is the team of broken toys. They are the rejects that no one else wants in the NFL. I love the hard play from the Jets. It will not be pretty in the weeks coming forward, but take kind words, when they come your way. Go Team Green.
The LA Rams is the real deal. They should have beaten Jacksonville and they did beat Jacksonville. It was a great game and the Rams won. They may be the best team in the NFC West.
The Pittsburgh Steelers put a beat down on the Kansas City Chiefs. This was a great win for the Steelers.
The New York Football Giants won a game. Great Job G-Men...
Now for the Low Lights:
Our Douche Bag of the Week Award goes to the Atlanta Falcons. The Atlanta Falcons who was smoking the Miami Dolphins for an entire half, decided that the game was over. The Falcons slept through the 2nd Half and found a way to lose a game they should have won. When you add this to the EPIC 4th Quarter Collapse in the Super Bowl, you have to wonder exactly how dumb are these players on the Falcons.
Baltimore and Cleveland simply do not have "it" this year.
Tampa Bay astounds me, every single year. They have a team, that can win, and be in the top 5 of the NFC but they simply do not have the heart or the head to do it. It is a shame, that this team, simply will not be ready to be a top power team.
I am worried for the Oakland Raiders, because they simply look bad. I love the team but right now, they are not going in the right direction.
Did someone forget to tell the Broncos that they had a football game last night... Just Sayin....
