After listening to McGregor bragging for months about how 'he is boxing" and how he will knock out floyd in one round, we see him apply some pressure in the first 4 rounds and then collapse.
Now all 49-1 people are saying that he did great for a non boxer and after all he fought the best.
Well actually no, he didn't do well at all.
He came in this fight 10 pounds heavier than floyd if not more and just tried to do his thing.
What's his thing?? That left hand.. He landed a big uppercut which was probably his biggest punch in the game and some other hooks as well but most of his blows were just illegal rabbit punches or half hearted slap punches.
To me it was clear that floyd was not pressured, he was laughing the whole time, he was breathing, he was not getting hurt he controlled the fight from the 1st second in my point of view. Mystic Mac from the other hand tried to hide it but he did get hurt a lot and he gassed out too early ( just remembered that he said he was ready to follow an tremendous pace for 12 rounds)
Everyone wants to give mcgregor credit for this fight but I don't. I lost respect of him because of the way he talked and he behaved and honestly I don't believe he deserved that recognition which he enjoyed after the fight.
