Ostberg finished 8th in Portugal driving his private Ford Fiesta WRC 2017 but under M-Sport banner as a entrant and with DMACK tyres on the car for the first time.
He switched from Michelin for this rally just to try it but proved being unlucky because he had some punctures that slowed him dramatically.
Other DMACK competitor E.Evans finished 6th and after fight for victory in Argentina, this can't be called a success.
Ostberg said that he could switch tyre manufacturers from rally to rally but probably on tarmac rallies he could use Michelin rubber because it proved to be quicker. But you never know. Evans topped times on day 2 of Monte Carlo Rallye with DMACKs.
