It's going to be a short post tonight. Watching Game 7 of the Predators versus Jets NHL Hockey game. As a Nashville Native, it is my civic duty to cheer on the Predators.
After giving up 2 quick goals in the first period, the Preds goalie, Pekka Rinne was pulled in favor of backup Juuse Saros. So far that move has not been bad. The score in the middle of the second period is 2-1. One more tally would make it a new game. Here's hoping.
It would be a major disappointment for the Preds to lose this game. A team that made it to the Stanley Cup Finals last year, and won the President's Trophy for best regular season record in the entire league, has high expectations on it's shoulders. Losing in the second round would be a disappointing end to the season.
So we will see how the game winds up. If you are not a Winnipeg fan, do me a favor and cheer for the Nashville Predators for the next hour or so yeah?!?!
